Parking / Garage
The Pianelle Resort * * * * is located in the heart of the Sassi of Matera, in Piazza San Pietro Caveoso – Rione Pianelle n. 59, like all the hotels in the Sassi, in a ZTL closed to unauthorized vehicles from 10.00 am to midnight (from May 1 ST to October 31 st ) and from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm (from November 1 st to April 30 th ).
We have a partner Welcome Garage, guarded 24/7, IN&OUT shuttle service with 5 and 9-seater VAN, reservations are required and, well in advance, the delivery and collection of your vehicles.
Alternatively, multi-level Parking Saragat, not affiliated, with unattended storage, transfer service with “Sassi Line” red shuttle bus parking / resort and vice versa. Bus stop adjacent to the driveway entrance and frequency runs every 30 minutes from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, stops 20 meters from our Resort (ticket available on board and at our reception desk).
We also have availability to arrange transfer service from the main nearby Airports (Bari, Brindisi and Naples) to the Pianelle Resort and vice versa.
Mercedes Benz E-Class (max 4 pax + driver) or Mercedes Benz VITO Van (from 4 to 8 pax + driver), customized rates on request.
Breakfast
Served in our Breakfast Room on the ground floor, at the end of the main entrance court, many typical and homemade products are served “à la carte” and partially buffet, all days from 7.30 to 10.30 am.
As a Scattered Hotel style, the shape of our Resort does not allow to make the room service.

Laundry Service
Garments to be washed and/ or ironed must be perfectly intact and in excellent condition, if they are delivered before 9.30 am will be returned the same day by 20:00, otherwise the next business day.
Please note: the total number of items must be specified; in the absence of information, the count made by the hotel staff will be considered valid.
The hotel is not responsible for shrinkage or discoloration of the garments.
The service is not active on Sundays and holidays.
Fill out the form in the room and leave it together with the laundry bag on the bed, our Housekeeper will collect the items to be washed and deliver the clean items.
We are Pet-Friendly
Your 4-legged best friend is welcome!
Only small dogs (max 10 kg) and well behaved are allowed, a daily supplement is required.
We provide bowls on mats for food and water.
The stay must be communicated at the time of booking.
Regulation
– For the transport from the garage to Pianelle Resort it is mandatory to use one of our pet carriers already available at the garage.
– The behavior of the animal must be managed by the owner so as not to disturb the other guests.
– The owner is responsible for all damage caused to other guests caused by their pet.
– The owner is responsible for the repair and/or replacement of all items possibly stained damaged by the animal.
– Animals are not allowed to enter or stop in areas where food and drinks are administered.
– Therefore, access to the breakfast room, restaurants, bars, terraces, areas where there are distributors for food and drinks, whether they are closed rooms or external areas, is not allowed (the only exception being guide dogs).
– Animals cannot access to the Meeting Rooms (the only exception being guide dogs).
– The use of bed linen and towels for the animal is not allowed (grooming, bedding, or other).
– It is not allowed to leave the animals free in the hotel, in other common areas the transit of animals is allowed as long as they are always accompanied and with the obligation to use a leash and equipped with a suitable muzzle, for cats inside a special cage.
– Animals cannot be left alone in the rooms during the stay (day and night).
– It is not allowed to pick up the animal on the beds, armchairs, chairs, tables, etc. (both in the room and in the common areas).
– In the common areas (Hall, Breakfast room; Restaurant room) animals cannot be held in their arms.

Lounge Bar
Carved in the rock, our American Bar serves Soft Drinks and Cocktails at the table or comfortably seated in the living room till 10.00 pm.
Furthermore, a mezzanine Privé allows the right amount of privacy for 2 to 12 people.
Terrace
Our exclusive Panoramic Terrace located on the top floor of the hotel offers, in addition to a spectacular view of the main Piazza San Pietro Caveoso and the Sassi, drinks aperitifs* and cocktails, local food products and gastronomic specialties, using regional raw materials.
In the same Piazza San Pietro Caveoso the most spectacular scenes of famous international movies shot in Matera were filmed and in particular some scenes right in front of the Pianelle Resort of the films “NO TIME TO DIE” (with Daniel Craig “007”) and the brand new “PINS AND NEEDLES” (with Omar Sy “Untouchables”).
We are waiting for you not only for the aperitif but also for a tasting of sweets and bitters after dinner: from 18:00 to 22:00.

At Reception we will recommend the best Restaurants a few steps away from our Resort, informing you about their characteristics, menus, days and opening times for lunch and dinner.

Guided Tour
You can directly rent at our Hotel E- BIKE and ELECTRIC PUSH SCOOTER to discover the Sassi, by yourself or with your family.
Walking tours of Sassi and Rupestian Churches, individual or in group, with professional guides in English, French, Spanish or German (2/3 hours), or with: open-top bus, Tuk- Tuk (Italian typical covered motorcycle).

Mini Bar
Open the glass panel on your room wall and you will find a fully stocked mini-bar.
Our staff is at your disposal for any further need. You can contact us directly by dialing the number 100 (Reception) or the number 102 (Bar) via the telephone in the room.

Do you forget anything?
The following items are available 24/7:
– Razor and shaving cream, toothbrush and toothpaste, sewing kit.
– Pillows, blankets, towels and other courtesy items are available free of charge 24/7.
– Air condition in your room: it is possible to set the temperature by the thermostat that you have in your room, anyway our staff will help you 24/7 by calling number 100 from your room.
– Safe: it is requested not to leave worth object unattended.
Inside your room you will find a safe and a digital password in order to store your objects.
The hotel is not responsible for the lost of unattended items.
– Tidying up your room: in every room you will find the “Do not Disturb” tag that you can put outside the room door in order to do not be disturbed during your stay.
The tidying up of the room is expected within 03.00 pm.
Our staff won’t proceed to tidy up in presence of the “Do not Disturb” tag.
If you don’t need phone call you can notify it to our reception staff (by calling 100 from your room phone or by WhatsApp +39 375 6359145).
Warnings
The KEY of the room must be carefully guarded in case of loss or theft of your room key, immediately notify our Reception Staff.
The room key must always be returned before leaving the hotel and at the time of departure and must not be left in the room.
At the exit make sure that the door is always locked.
The CHECK-OUT time is scheduled for 11:00 am but if you need more time, do not hesitate to contact us.
To avoid waiting at Check-Out, it is recommended to provide the Reception Staff with billing data in advance.
The LUGGAGE STORAGE service is available free of charge 24h a day.
For all information we are available directly on WhatsApp or by dialing from the fixed phone of the room with the number 100.
Medical Assistance: to receive information about the First Aid and for the Medical Assistance service contact the Reception with the number 100 from the room phone or via WhatsApp.
Emergency: all our rooms have a direct exit to the outside and in case of fire check the fastest escape route in the floor plan located in the room.
